Rediff.com (стилизованный под "rediff.com") — индийский новостной, информационный, развлекательный и торговый веб-портал. Основан в 1996 году. Штаб-квартира компании расположена в Мумбаи, а офисы — в Бангалоре, Нью-Делии Нью-Йорк.
По состоянию на 2009 год в нем работало более 300 сотрудников, это один из первых веб-порталов и провайдеров электронной почты в Индии. Когда его основатель Аджит Балакришнан запустил Rediff на NeT, интернету в стране было всего пять месяцев, и у него было около 18 000 пользователей.
История
Домен Rediff.com был зарегистрирован в Индии в 1996 году первые продукты включали службу электронной почты Rediffmail и rediff Shopping, онлайн-рынок, продающий электронику и периферийные устройства. В 2001 году Rediff.com был обвинён в нарушении Закона о ценных бумагах 1933 года из-за того, что он показал существенно ложный проспект относительно IPO своих американских депозитарных акций; дело было решено мировым соглашением в 2009 году.
В апреле 2001 года Rediff.com приобрела газету «India Abroad».
В 2007 году была издана мультимедийная платформа Rediff iShare; в 2010 году был запущен Rediffmail NG, почтовый сервис для мобильных платформ; в 2012 году Rediff запустила свое приложение для Android для Rediff News.
В апреле 2016 года компания решила прекратить свою деятельность на бирже NASDAQ, сославшись на высокую стоимость требований к отчётности, учитывая её финансовое положение.
