Sumo Digital Ltd. — частная компания, которая занимается разработкой компьютерных игр. Расположена в городе Шеффилд, Великобритания.
История
Компания была основана бывшими сотрудниками Infogrames Studios Sheffield после закрытия студии (ранее популярна как Gremlin Interactive) — Карлом Каверсом, Полом Портером, Дарреном Миллсом и Джеймсом Норт-Хирном.
17 августа 2007 года Sumo Digital была приобретена компанией Foundation 9 Entertainment. В ноябре 2014 года менеджмент Sumo Digital выкупил компанию у Foundation 9. В январе 2016 года Sumo Digital открыла третью студию разработки Sumo Nottingham.
В январе 2018 года Sumo Digital приобрела CPP Newcastle — Гейтсхедскую студию CCP Games. В августе того же года компания приобрела разработчика The Chinese Room. В феврале 2019 года Sumo Digital приобрела студию Red Kite Games. Через несколько дней студия основала еще одну новую студию в Leamington Spa, чтобы сосредоточиться на разработке мобильных игр. В октябре 2019 года была основана студия Sumo North West во главе с соучредителем Evolution Studios Скоттом Кирклендом. В мае 2020 года Sumo Group приобрела Lab42 Games с 29 сотрудниками, которые перешли в Sumo Digital.
В настоящее время работают в студии 700 человек со стажем более 12 лет. Дополнительно, в компании работают бывшие сотрудники фирм Bizarre Creations и Black Rock Studio.

Sumo Digital имеет лицензию на разработку игр для всех ведущих игровых платформ: PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 и PlayStation Portable, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo DS, Wii, Wii U, Nintendo Switch и IOS.
